A Little About Me
I am a fully trained, qualified counsellor, working face to face and also am qualified to work online via video, email or phone.
I understand coming to counselling can be daunting. I care and believe in people and their potential. I want the best for you and will use my natural, gentle and sensitive approach to support and help you break through problems, difficulties and obstacles that are holding you back in life. We will always work, in partnership, collaboratively using gentle challenge and exploration . Life's too short to be unhappy or unfulfilled, working together we can lighten the load of any issues that are causing you pain and worry. Gentle, Sensitive, Thought-Based Approach
Working Integratively, I draw upon a number of modalities, therapies and helping techniques from traditional Psychodynamic, humanistic, CBT, solutions=focussed therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness and systemic counselling models. My aim is to work with you, in whatever way works best, to explore your thoughts, ideas perspectives and feelings, which in turn will help you understand yourself and your own motives better, Knowing yourself better will help nurture your spirit, and sense of self, who you are and what strengths you already have which will help you overcome personal challenges. I believe everyone can be helped to find their inner resources which they can learn to draw upon to better cope and achieve individual potential . I adapt therapy to cater to each of my client’s personal needs in order to help them unlock their full potential.
